Words of cheer Birthday card!

Hi everyone and welcome back to my blog.

I have been using the words of cheer bundle from the mini Holiday catalogue and can't believe I waited so long to open it ... it is stunning! I love the dies that produce the words 'Happy' and 'Cheer' but that floral stamp is so pretty and versatile. I love it for a Winter Birthday or, in different colours, an all year round birthday/get well/ thinking of you/ thanks card.

Measurements and supplies

To create the card I used a base of Misty Moonlight 5 1/2 x  6 3/4 scored at 4 1/4".

I cut a piece of Basic White for the inside 4 x 5 1/4" and stamped the floral image on the LHS bottom corner in Memento black, and coloured it before adhering it inside the card.

On a scrap of Basic White I stamped the whole floral image in Memento black and coloured it using Light and Dark So Saffron, light and dark Soft Succulent and light Pumpkin Pie blends. I then cut it out using the die but you could fussy cut the image also.

I attached a piece of the Pattern Party DSP measuring 2 x 5", to a piece of Basic White measuring 2 1/4 x 5 1/4".

Using dimensionals I attached the LHS of the image to the narrow front. I stamped a sentiment from Pansy Patch stamp set  in Misty Moonlight to match the card and DSP.

Check out my Youtube video to see how to assemble the card.

Thanks again for joining me, see you soon.
