Todays card uses the very pretty Golden honey Designer series paper and one of my favourite layout templates.
The Paper is free from the sale-a-bration catalogue and I have seen lots of people make some really pretty cards with it. The following examples on pinterest from Kylie Bertucci show how it can be a great background layer for your cards!
My layout is one I use a lot to show off DSP and it only needs some simple stamping. I also used the gold foil edged cards and envelopes which are a boon to card making as they give you a gold layer without using extra card.
Card measurements
Base card was a pre-cut base with gold foil edge - you can also use basic 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4"
basic black card 5 x 3", 4 x 1 3/4", scraps for sentiment layer
1st DSP 4 3/4 x 2 3/4"
2nd DSP 3 3/4 x 1 1/2
whisper white scraps for sentiment
I also used nested dies and metallic pearls.
