Bridge fold card - sponging and embossing

Hello and welcome to my blog

Todays card is a Bridge fold card and is a really easy fun fold. I shared a Christmas themed one last night on my Facebook live and today I wanted to make a more masculine birthday card using a couple of extra techniques!

After I finished filming I decided to colour the windows of the light house with my light So Saffron blend and I also added one of the retired sail away anchor trinkets with a little Basic White twine. You could add twine around the central image, rhinestone or matte dots too.

Measurements and supplies

Night on Navy card base 8 1/2 x 5 1/2", score on the longer side  at 2" and 3 1/8" at both ends.

Night of Navy layers for the front and back - cut 4 pieces 1 3/4 x 5 1/4" and emboss with Greenery Embossing folder

Basic White - cut 2 pieces 2 x 5 1/4", 1 for front image and 1 for sentiment on reverse.

Ink pads - Night of Navy, Balmy Blue, Sahara Sand

So Saffron Light blend pen

Sponge daubers and/or blending brushes

Thankyou for joining me - I hope you give the fun fold a go; it is so easy!

Happy crafting
