Last week I made a card using the Beautiful Moments stamp set and wanted to continue using it - this week I made another card with the same image but added Paper Piecing as a technique. Paper Piecing is the stamping and cutting of images on Designer series Paper or card stock and is not to be confused with paper piercing where you punch holes into cardstock or paper with a needle/piercing tool.
For the piecing I stamped the main image onto Basic White Cardstock, chose small scraps of Designer series paper for the pattern of the dresses, stamped and cut out the dress only, then attached it to the main image. It is such an easy technique and a fun way to both colour an image and use up scraps.
Measurements and supplies

I hope you like my card - have a try at paper piecing if you haven't already ... it is quite addictive as you can see if you look at the second image at the back!
Thanks so much for visiting and happy crafting!
