Casually crafting - colour theme card

Happy new Blog Hop Day for the Casually Crafting Design Team! I belong to a fun group of independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world. The hop goes live on the 3rd Saturday of each month and I am always excited to see what everyone makes.

Our projects are aimed at beginner stampers and those who craft occasionally, but are also great as a spring board for intermediate and more avid crafters too!

This months theme is a colour one and uses any of the new 2021 -2023 In colours; I created a simple layout on my card which can be stepped up if you wish and works with any DSP or stamp sets that you have on hand.
Have you seen the new colours?? I just love them all but my favourite is certainly the Evening Evergreen and I know I will use this one a lot for my Winter cards.

I used the beautiful Evening Evergreen for my base card and accent ribbon, Designer series paper from the Hand penned collection and a very simple banner for my 'Thankyou sentiment'.

Supplies and measurements

Evening Evergreen Card base is cut at 8 1/2 x 5 1/2" and score at 4 1/4"
Hand penned DSP 1 piece 5 x 3 3/4, 1 piece 4 3/4 x 3 1/2", small scrap for inside card and a little more if you want to decorate the envelope flap.
Approx 10" Evening Evergreen ribbon
Basic White card stock 5 x 3 3/4" and small scrap for sentiment
Sentiment of your choice

This simple design would be great for all occasions or for a set of quick cards to give as a gift, just wrap with ribbon or place on one of our lovely acetate boxes for a simple way to wrap them.

Don't forget to check the links below to see who else took part in the hop this month and to see their beautiful projects.

Thankyou again for visiting
