Welcome to the February monthly video hop and our theme this time is scraps!! I love using up every single little bit of the beautiful designer series paper, cardstock and embellishments. and that way I know I have got my moneys worth lol!
This time I used the notecards and envelopes which are such great value, along with the True love designer series paper that had been coloured using blends. Every card used items that I had pre coloured, stamped or cut for previous projects and I love what I was able to create. I didn't have predetermined sizes in mind - I literally used whatever size DSP I had left over and trimmed to fit the cards.
Please be aware that I used the older Whisper White notecards and envelopes, our supplier has changed and we now have Basic White card and it is a little brighter than the previous card. My bases and some of the dies cuts were made with Whisper White, the card layers and some diets and punch outs are the new card stock.
Here are my finished cards, including the peony one which I didn't have time to show in the video. I love them so much that I am making them into a card in the mail class- watch for more details!
