Wanting to craft with a small group of like minded ladies in Canada?

 

Ready to stamp but not sure where to start? Wondering how to use colours and inks? Need to find a layout that will look great with your stamped images and Designer series paper?

Come and join me in my Start to Stamp classes with Diane Hutchinson – craftsbythebow@stampinup.net This is a series of 6 classes for beginner stampers, those who may not have stamped for a while and would like a refresher course or simply for anyone looking for new ideas!

The total cost is $80 which includes your basic supplies for all 6 classes, all Supplies are yours to keep and include:
• 4 season floral stamp set with 7 photopolymer stamps
• Posted for you stamp set with 7 cling stamps
• Memento black ink
• 1 sheet of 100 dimensionals
• Playing with patterns resin dots
• 10 whisper white notecards and envelopes
• Full size card bases, card layers and envelopes
• 24 sheets Playing with patterns 6 x 6” Designer series paper – 2 of each 12 double sided designs

You need to have access to acrylic block D, basic tools like scissors, a paper trimmer (or I will cut cards and paper for you if you let me know in advance), coloured ink pads starting with class #3, embossing supplies for class #4 and colouring tools for class #5. If you don’t have these, we can certainly make a plan and I can let you know in advance if you are unsure or have to add to your crafting stash! I do only use Stampin’ Up! Product in my classes.

You will make 3 cards or projects at each session and have spare supplies to make extra projects. The classes are held via zoom on the last Monday of the month at 6:30pm October through March. You will have access to the recording afterwards as well as a pdf for each class with measurements and supplies etc.

Classes will cover:
1. October 26th Stamping 101, the 2 different types of stamps, preparation, care and cleaning, using acrylic blocks, types of ink.

2. Nov 30th Using Designer series paper, how to cut and use 6x6” or 12x12” DSP, decorating cards and envelopes, adding punched sentiments.

3. Dec 28th Cardstock basics, how to cut bases and layers using an easy template or guide. Creating a background using random stamping.

4. Jan 25th Adhesives and basic tools, different types of embellishments, dry embossing using folders, heat embossing.

5. Feb 22nd Different ways to colour, inks and refills, water colouring, 2 step stamping, blends, Stampin write markers.

6. March 29th Simple re-useable layouts, easy templates and sketches, fun folds and more!

Registration and Payment is due by Monday October 12th to allow time for supplies to arrive and be collected.

Cards and projects will differ from the ones shown.
