Christmas Countdown

 Hello everyone - now that the snow is falling we are starting to think about the Holiday season. I showed you a sneak peak a couple of weeks ago when I got the Christmas countdown kit from Stampin' Up! The kit was available last year but I didn't purchase it then; this year I wanted to make it as I had seen so many beautiful kits made last year. 

The kit has 25 2 x 2" drawers that come pre made, it is housed in a very sturdy box just over 11" square, all the die cuts and numbers are included, all that you need is adhesive and something to fill the boxes with. Doesn't it look pretty? 

I wanted to turn this into a tea and coffee advent calendar for my husband - he loves his nespresso machine and his morning coffee, but on an evening drinks teas. I checked the size of the largest Nespresso pods and they fit perfectly! I think a Keurig pod would fit as well. There is room for a treat as well as coffee pods or tea bags too.

You can also see how I changed the designer series paper to change the theme as you could use it for a Birthday countdown, or for holidays, weddings, and other special events. 

I haven't finished making mine it yet and would love to have a zoom craft time where we can get together and make the countdown box while we nitter natter!
