Designer series paper week!

This month Stampin' Up! have a Buy 3 get 1 free' offer on some of the Designer series paper from the Annual catalogue. I love the papers and tend to buy it when this offer is on - must be the Yorkshire streak in me and I love a bargain!! If you don't know about a Yorkshire streak - it is a thrifty one a bit like the Scottish stereotype and we love a bargain :)

Todays card uses one of the papers as an accent; my card later this week will use paper as the actual card so stay tuned!

My inspiration was from a gorgeous card that Tamara Bertram sent me. I used the same layout and stamp set she used - why change perfection??

Card sizings
whisper white thick card 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"
DSP cut at 2" x 5" and cut with the triple banner punch.

Stamp set is Rustic retreat.
I also used stitched ovals, adhesive sequins, crumb cake and old olive blends.

I am Yorkshire girl living in beautiful Cochrane, Alberta, Canada.
