Flowers everywhere!

Hello and happy Wednesday!
I have been playing with a beautiful stamp set called 'Beautiful friendship' and we are certainly going to be friends! The flowers remind me of an English country garden and of my Mums beautiful garden back in Yorkshire. Her garden is full of colours, flowers, greenery the prettiest rockery and a gorgeous collection of roses including some that my late uncle propagated himself called Drayton's Delight. I love to sit and just watch while the bees and butterflies land on every flower - it makes me so homesick just to think of it.
The stamp set has only a few floral stamps but with it you can create a whole garden.
I love that hydrangea and am going to have fun creating with that - hydrangeas are my daughter and future SIL's favourite flower and will be a part of the wedding next year. The stamp seems just perfect for that. I also love the way the distinctive stamps give a watercolour effect with different tones using only 1 ink - so pretty!

Todays card uses only the leaves and 1 small rose type flower - it would look stunning in red for a buck of roses on an anniversary card and in more muted colours makes a lovely congratulations or get well card. Can you tell that I love this set?
After I made the card I realized that the  glue dot was not  holding the flower on securely enough, I added another dot and placed the flowers slightly differently to the video.

The sizings for the card that I made are:
Mossy meadow base 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 scored at 4 1/4
Blushing bride 2 @ 5 1/4 x 4
Whisper white 2 pieces @ 5 1/8 x 3 7/8, pieces of scrap for stamping flower and sentiment
DSP 3/4 x 5 1/8
adhesive backed sequins

If you live in Canada and need any of the supplies please visit my online store - I would love to be your demonstrator.
