Craft fair packaging for cards

Hello again and welcome back to Crafts by the Bow. This week I am showing you how I package some of my sets of cards for my craft fairs; today is the turn of the simple acetate box. Stampin' Up! sell these clear plastic boxes in the main catalogue in a pack, I buy them for packaging and storing but mainly as a clean, crisp way to package my cards.
A package of cards always makes a great present for a hostess, bus driver, neighbour, co-worker, secret Santa etc and is great to have on hand for a quick and easy gift.

My cards today used a simple but effective layout using the new DSP from the 'Brightly gleaming'  suite. I can't show you the catalogue page as it doesn't go live for a couple of weeks yet but there are sneak peaks in the video of the actual products!

I used thick very vanilla card bases cut at 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 and scored at 4 1/4.
Brightly gleaming copper foiled DSP cut into 3 4" strips and then each piece was cut at 4 x 5 1/4" . Decide whatever width you want to cut these smaller rectangles of DSP to - mine were mainly cut at the 1 1/2" line.
I used the trimming for envelope decorations.
My belly band was made from the 3rd 4" strip of DSP - I had taken a slither off for the rest of my envelopes as I couldn't see where my remaining pieces had gone lol! It was cut at 2 3/4" and the remaining piece is what I used at the co-ordinating top of the band.

The doily was from the Petal promenade  die set called Beautiful layers. I have cut this doily as an accent for many projects and also use the envelope liner die from this set a lot!
I used the sentiment from Winter woods because it was just the right size for what I needed and seemed to match really well with the paper and card.

I hope you enjoyed seeing how to make an easy, pretty package for your cards. On Sunday I will be showing you a different way to package cards too.
