Hi everyone and welcome back to my blog. This is the last week of making fancy folds and some simple but stunning folds for cards; I have never shown the folds on video before although I have made most of them in the past.
Todays card uses the gorgeous perennial essence DSP which I am loving and may just be ready to order another pack :) Both the back and front of the paper is stunning and it is hard to choose which side to actually use and which to glue down.
For the card today I used 2 separate pieces of the paper but you could actually use just one sheet and alternate so that one side of the card used the triangle of paper on the 1st side and the 2nd triangle used the back.
I am going to start adding the measurements for the card just on my blog - this means you don't have to try to write down sizings etc whilst watching the video, or having to rewind to double check.
Whisper white card
1 strip for front 53/8 x 3/4
Inner card 4 x 51/4
Base card 2 pieces 41/4 x 11 and scored at 51/2
On the 1st piece cut from the fold to the bottom left corner to create a triangle flap. On the 2nd piece cut from the fold to the bottom right corner to create a triangle.
Attach the 2 pieces together by placing the rectangular parts of the cards ontop of each other. If there is any overhang top or bottom just trim it off.
DSP - cut 1 piece at 4 x 51/4 and cut diagonally corner to corner to make the triangles to attach to the white base card
I used
Perennial essence DSP #149100 $15.75
Pop of petals cling mount stamp set #151328 $30
Leaf punch # 144667 $22
Classic label punch #141491
