Thankyou trees and a total 'nana!

Today I saw a card on pinterest that I liked for the way the card and background layers looked - thought 'yes I want to make that' looked for directions and nothing. Sat down and drew the card out on my grid paper - which is actually a great tool for designing. Measured twice, cut twice! Got it ready and videoed the card - happy in the knowledge that I had worked it all out. Turned the camera off and 'd'oh! What I had spent ages measuring was in fact the difficult way to complete the task, isnt it funny how our eyes perceive something of the card being 3 strips of paper on a green background and yet there was a different view of just 1 strip of paper backed with green card - so below are the EASY measurements for my Thankyou trees card.

Directions for card - all in inches
Whisper white 11x 4 1/4 scored at 5 1/2 for base, 5 x 3 3/4 for front, 4 x 2 1/2 for backing picture
Tranquil Tide 4 x 5 , 4 1/4 x 2 3/4, 2 1/2 x 4 to use vertically on top of base layers
DSP 4 x 2 1/4 to add to vertical Tranquil Tide card
Picture - whisper white  3 3/4 x 2 1/4

DO NOT CUT ALL THE TINY PIECES TO ADD TO MAKE THE LAYERS ON FRONT HA HA!

I made another card the 2nd way in half the time, added some twine to the left hand side of the card for a different look.
