Can you believe that it is time for another Global monthly video hop? I don't know where the year is going but am excited to restart Preschool this month and the theme is just perfect! Our September theme is 'Back to school' - what can be more iconic than an apple for the teacher?
I chose to use the Stampin' Up! Harvest Hellos stamps and matching punch - this can also be used for Fall with pumpkins and would make a great set of mini cards and Hallowe'en or Thanksgiving treat bundle.Measurements |
|
coloured card stock - scraps | Real Red, Crushed Curry, Soft Suede and Old Olive for apples, layers, leaves and stems |
Designer series paper | 1 piece 2 3/4 x 2 3/4, scraps for envelopes etc |
Whisper White card base | 6 x 3" scored and folded at 3" scrap for circle |
1. Use small offcuts of DSP to decorate envelope and inside of the mini card
- Front of card and front of mini pizza box
- Stamp sentiment and apple in Memento black ink on scraps of coloured card and cut out with punch
- Die cut or punch circles with Whisper White and scalloped circles using co-ordinating colours of cardstock
- Attach Designer series paper to front of card, layer the scalloped circle and white circle on top of DSP
- Attach apple to white circle using dimensionals
- Using liquid glue attach the stem and leaf to top of apple
- Add a small bow to apple
- For mini pizza box attach Old Olive 3 x 3" square first and then continue with steps 3 - 6
